We didn't expect there to be many wildflowers on this particular
hike, and especially not in July, but we were wrong as you can see!
It was chilly most of the way, with a strong wind. The fog in the
beginning (at Rodeo Lagoon 10:30 AM) lifted after an hour or so.
We hiked to Tennessee Cove for a picnic before retracing our path.
It was a little over seven miles round-trip, plus some for
side trips, taking two hours each way.
