What a treat! A very pleasant mostly wooded trail with nice views of the Stevens Creek Reservoir and of Silicon Valley, a great pond full of tadpoles, and one of the oldest wineries in California. At the midway point of the 4-5 mile hike, we tasted chardonnay, sangiovese, a sangiovese-merlot combo, cabernet, and a new red offering (can't remember the name...), and then picnic'ed in the shade with peacocks watching us and with a silver medal 2001 chardonnay made with grapes grown at the winery. See also Andy's pictures from the hike.
